These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of this website (www.completeacademic.com) and all editing, coaching, and research support services provided by Bianca, trading as Complete Academic. By accessing this site or using any service, you agree to the following terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting this website or requesting a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use this site or its services. You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and not to compromise its security or attempt to access areas or data that are restricted.

2. Services Provided

Complete Academic is a sole proprietorship offering academic editing, thesis/dissertation coaching, research proposal development, journal article editing, and CV/cover letter support. All work is conducted solely by Bianca.

3. Client Responsibility

While I provide detailed, professional editing and coaching, academic success is dependent on factors outside my control. You remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and final use of your document. This service does not guarantee acceptance of your work by any institution, journal, examiner, or funding body.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is required in full before editing or coaching begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pricing is quoted individually and depends on the word count, service type, and turnaround time.

5. Add-ons and Variations

Optional services such as response-to-reviewer help, detailed formatting, or certificate of editing quality may attract additional charges. If your scope or deadline changes after quoting, the price may be revised accordingly.

6. Turnaround and Rush Work

Turnaround times are agreed upon in advance. Express or rush services may be available at additional cost. I aim to meet all deadlines, but cannot be held liable for delays caused by factors beyond my control (e.g. technical issues).

7. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel any project before editing has started for a full refund. If work has begun, a pro-rated amount will be charged based on what has already been completed.

8. Document Handling

You are encouraged to keep a full backup of your original and edited documents. I do not accept responsibility for files lost or corrupted after delivery.

9. Confidentiality

All client work is treated as confidential. Your documents will never be shared, stored online, or used for any purpose beyond the agreed service.

10. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, and any original resources provided to clients, remain the intellectual property of Complete Academic. You may not copy, share, or reproduce them without permission.

Your documents remain your property at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

I will not be liable for academic outcomes, financial losses, or indirect damages resulting from the use of my services. My role is to assist, not to guarantee academic approval or publication.

12. Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
